Geospatial information AI technology company Dabeeo received the top honor, the Minister of Science and ICT Award, at the 2nd AI Reliability Awards held on October 26.

The AI Reliability Awards aim to promote awareness of the importance of ensuring reliability and safety in artificial intelligence(AI) technology while supporting and showcasing the capabilities and services of domestic companies. It is hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Telecommunications Technology Association(TTA) and the Korea Information Society Development Institute(KISDI).

This year, Dabeeo's AI-based geospatial information data analysis platform, Dabeeo Eartheye, demonstrated excellence in comprehensive evaluations across reliability, quality and marketability, earning the prestigious grand prize.

Dabeeo Eartheye is an AI solution that converts geospatial information derived from diverse image sources, such as satellite and aerial imagery, into digital data for analysis and visualization. By employing core AI technologies—such as super-resolution, object detection, instance segmentation, 3D reconstruction and change detection—it provides GeoIntelligence that supports in-depth understanding of extensive areas. Continuous advancements in its deep learning engine enable swift and accurate analysis of spatial changes, offering valuable insights for optimal decision-making across industries that rely on geospatial information.

The service is actively utilized in various domestic and international projects. In Korea, local governments and institutions leverage Dabeeo Eartheye for building, road, and terrain analysis. In Indonesia, the world’s largest palm oil producer, the platform is driving innovation in forestry and agriculture by analyzing planting distribution and health across areas larger than Seoul. Furthermore, the solution’s high data precision is rapidly advancing its adoption in the defense sector.

Beyond its technological capabilities, Dabeeo Eartheye has received praise for maximizing accessibility and usability of spatial information data. Unlike traditional GIS systems that were primarily expert-oriented, its intuitive UI and UX design allow users with diverse needs to easily interpret and utilize data. As a cloud-based SaaS (Solution as a Service), Dabeeo Eartheye ensures convenience while also supporting on-premise deployments for customers requiring enhanced security or tailored solutions.
