On October 3rd, geospatial information AI technology company Dabeeo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AI solution provider Funzin, marking their commitment to advancing AI technology and accelerating innovation in the defense industry.

Recognized for their technological expertise in the AI field and selected as part of the “Defense Innovation Companies 100,” Dabeeo and Funzin plan to strengthen long-term partnerships through this strategic alliance and collaborate on innovative defense projects.

Through technological cooperation, the companies aim to develop advanced defense-related solutions, particularly focused on analyzing future battlefield environments. They intend to showcase their combined capabilities by launching pilot projects that merge Dabeeo’s 3D battlefield environment construction technology with Funzin’s defense technology. This initiative will help them explore opportunities for expansion into large-scale defense projects and foster mutual growth.

Dabeeo specializes in converting and analyzing spatial information from multiple sources, such as satellites, aircraft and drones, into digital data using AI technology. Its 3D reconstruction technology enables the rapid creation of virtual 3D spaces across vast areas without size limitations. This technology has been applied in various fields, including terrain analysis, urban change detection, forest monitoring, climate impact analysis, as well as surveillance and reconnaissance for national defense security.

Park Ju-hum, CEO of Dabeeo, shared his vision, stating, “We will introduce innovative technologies that contribute to the revitalization of K-defense and national security through our collaboration with Funzin.” He added, “Dabeeo is committed to meeting the growing expectations for AI, which is emerging as a key technology in the defense industry.”
