Geospatial AI technology company Dabeeo announced that it signed an indoor map data supply contract with Naver last December. This partnership strengthens Dabeeo’s position in the spatial information data market.

Through this collaboration, Dabeeo will provide indoor map data for 86 major commercial facilities across the country, including shopping malls, department stores and large supermarkets to Naver Maps. Rather than a one-time data supply, this project involves the development of an API integration system that enables real-time updates of spatial information. Changes such as store openings and closures will be reflected promptly, ensuring that users always have access to the most up-to-date information. This enhanced service is expected to benefit not only domestic users but also international visitors shopping in Korea, contributing to an expansion of the platform’s user base.

With this agreement, Dabeeo is now supplying data services to both major B2C map platforms in Korea, including Kakao Map. This achievement has been made possible through ‘Dabeeo Studio’, which offers AI-powered spatial information digital transformation technology and advanced editing features. Dabeeo Studio supports digital map creation, modification, data management and real-time distribution, ensuring rapid updates with the latest information. Leveraging this capability, Dabeeo continues to lead the indoor map data market in the Korean retail sector and is actively exploring business opportunities with both domestic and international map platform providers.

Meanwhile, as the demand for spatial information applications extends beyond shopping facilities to various commercial spaces, exhibition halls, tourist attractions, large offices, hospitals and public institutions, Dabeeo plans to develop optimized services tailored to different environments. The company also provides ‘QR Here’, an AI-based wayfinding service, which offers intuitive navigation solutions even in indoor environments where GPS positioning is difficult.
