Victor Choi, Vice President of Dabeeo, and Soo Yong Kim, CEO of Sooin, signed a memorandum of understanding for a strategic partnership on the 20th.

Geospatial AI technology company Dabeeo has signed a strategic partnership Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with Sooin, a specialist in Controlled Release Fertilizer(CRF), on February 20th to expand their palm plantation business and promote smart agriculture in Southeast Asia. Through this agreement, both companies will establish a collaborative model for optimizing palm plantation operations and providing data-driven agricultural solutions, with plans to expand their business across the Southeast Asian market.

Dabeeo has commercialized a smart agriculture solution that utilizes 30cm-class ultra-high-resolution satellite imagery and AI analysis technology to precisely analyze the condition of individual palm trees and assess their health. This solution enables the rapid identification of diseased trees and provides accurate location data, allowing plantations to take appropriate measures promptly. Additionally, by periodically analyzing changes in tree health and stock volume, the system evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and enhances plantation productivity.

Dabeeo currently provides this solution to companies in Indonesia and Malaysia, covering a total plantation area more than twice the size of Seoul. Based on this successful market entry, the company plans to establish a regional subsidiary in Indonesia this year to accelerate its smart plantation business. Furthermore, Dabeeo intends to expand its existing web-based platform into a mobile application, enabling field management teams to quickly locate problem areas and take immediate action.

Sooin, a supplier of controlled-release fertilizers, supports sustainable palm plantation management by enhancing productivity through balanced nutrient supply. It is the only South Korean company officially authorized to distribute fertilizers in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Sooin provides tailored fertilizer solutions to major local palm plantations, including Sime Darby, Tabung Haji, and Felda. The company has demonstrated the efficiency of data-driven fertilizer optimization and continues to expand its market presence.

Through this MOU, Dabeeo and Sooin will strengthen their partnership by combining Sooin's distribution network in palm plantations with Dabeeo's AI technology, facilitating business expansion across Southeast Asia. A key aspect of this collaboration is leveraging Dabeeo’s AI monitoring technology to precisely analyze tree growth after fertilizer application, enabling data-driven customized fertilizer solutions.
